Even as a little girl, I have already been fascinated by water, mud and shores and everything that could be found there. Studying geography expanded and deepened my understanding of ecological connections even more. Today I am a certified canoe, nature and landscape guide in the national park Lower Oder Valley. Since 2008, I offer not only canoe tours in the national park but also transboundary on the Oder and in the nature conservation area on the polish site. During my tours I like to show my guests all the hidden treasures of flora and fauna. It is important that they can understand and experience the surrounding nature on their own and discover how everything is connected. Further, I care about climate and nature protection, which is why I focus on the importance of bogs, water protection and renaturation. Families with small children or experts - during my tours everyone is allowed to ask questions and shape each tour individually.
When my guests arrive in the national park Lower Oder Valley, the first thing they recognize is the silence that is only disrupted by singing birds, croaking frogs or swooshing reeds. Firstly, everything looks green, but the closer they look, the more special features appear. Vivid floodplains, beautiful forests and dry grasslands can be found next to each other and shape the diverse and unique landscape. Throughout the year, a great variety of birds visits the area and changes its appearance from season to season.
