Originally, I am from Bavaria, but I have been living in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern for many years. From my early childhood on, I was interested in the environment, the nature that surrounds us and the need to protect it. Mecklenburg-Vorpommern actually only really opens up to the guest in the hinterland. Here one will find amazingly untouched and unknown corners, without hectic and far away from mass tourism. The combination of old cultural monuments and almost untouched nature is what fascinates me and what I want to show my guests.
Apart from the impressive coastal landscape of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, there are almost untouched natural paradises and historico-cultural sites that are waiting to be rediscovered. In the impressive forest and lake landscapes, for example, you can get to know the animal world from a completely new perspective. Did you know, for example, how much alcohol from fermented fruits a starling would tolerate? How long a mayfly lives? Or why plants are predominantly green? The beautiful forests, meadows and lake landscapes as well as the small rivers make it easy for guests to gain such insights and discoveries.
