Günther Hoffmann

For the last 25 years I've lived in a small village on the edge of Anklamer Stadtbruch Nature Reserve. Nature and the dynamics of the natural landscape in the protected area Flusslandschaft Peenetal (Peene river valley) have fascinated me right from the beginning. For over ten years I've guided tourists and locals through this landscape and I still enjoy sharing my passion with them. I've served as conservation officer for Anklamer Stadtbruch for the last 5 years and I'm in close contact with NABU Foundation, which obtained large parts of the the protected areas for rewilding purposes in 2019.
