Guide Examination in the Lithuanian Summer Heat

The final tours of the Lithuanian Nature Guide training programme took place in the hot summer sun! After nearly one year of studying, our Nature Guide training participants demonstrated their skills and knowledge in nature, culture, communication, organizing, safety and interpretation last week. All evaluation teams enjoyed the tours and were very grateful for participants’ attentive preparation.

The final tours were very different regarding ideas, themes and locations, which revealed the wide diversity of personalities and interests among our participants. All future Nature Guides will be special and will offer unique services in their local area. To name just a few: bird observation during sunrise, herbal tea and berries in the bog, hike along Baltic Sea with authentic song, kayaking on the river, animal tracing in the dunes, self-exploration with closed eyes in the forest, myths on historical mounds and much more.
