Nature guide training in Lithuania – last course completed!

The final module of the Nature Guide training in Lithuania is finished! The last lectures in the module Nature Interpretation were originally scheduled to have taken place by the end of April already, but due to COVID-19 they were postponed and lasted until August. However, it was worth waiting out this prolongation – we had wonderful summer weather, great lecturers and interesting activities (see in the photos!).

Many thanks to the last module lecturers Marius Čepulis, Linas Daubaras and Mindaugas Lapelė, who gave us memorable summer-time weekends and shared their experiences, insights and tips on how to observe, communicate and interpret nature. The final tours as well as a final certification celebrating still awaits our participants!

Curonian Spit National Park Administration started the Nature Guide training course together with partners back in September 2019 and is now proud to see the courses have been completed. The training was organized under the Interreg South Baltic Program project “Nature Guide Network”, which intends to create and promote nature guiding as a profession.
